Overview

At Zone 7, we take pride in recruiting and retaining a highly qualified and committed staff who are all just as dedicated to community service as they are to each other. We employ approximately 115 full-time employees in a diverse range of fields, responsible for the massive job of keeping clean, safe water delivered to the Tri-Valley.

The Agency’s administrative offices are located in Livermore, CA, the easternmost city of Alameda County, which is bordered by Contra Costa County to the north and San Joaquin County to the east. Livermore, California’s oldest wine region, is known for the science and technology of its national laboratories, a historic downtown area and the surrounding farm lands and ranches that mirror the Valley’s agricultural heritage.

Zone 7 employees are committed to providing a reliable supply of high-quality water and an effective flood control system to the Livemore-Amador Valley in a fiscally responsible, innovative, proactive and environmentally sensitive way. Test the Waters

The cornerstone of a safe and healthy community is clean, running water. The employees of Zone 7 make that possible from the highly skilled technicians who test thousands of water samples in our state-of-the-art water quality lab to the water plant operators who keep the plants running smoothly 24/7, to the maintenance operators who work on everything from our fleet of vehicles to our new liquid oxygen tanks.
