Mocho Wellfield PFAS Treatment Facility
ABOUT THE PROJECT
- The project would add necessary water treatment facilities to the existing Mocho Wellfield to remove PFAS from the wellfield’s groundwater supply.
- The location for the new facility will be assessed during the conceptual design phase and would likely be located near the existing wells in Pleasanton.
PROJECT SCHEDULE & UPDATES
- Zone 7 plans to complete the conceptual design of the project in December 2024.
- Design and construction phases will follow.
- Construction of the facility is expected to be completed in spring 2029.
