2025 Tri-Valley Water Conservation Art Contest

Teachers and students! The Tri-Valley’s water agencies are excited to announce that the first annual Tri-Valley Water Conservation Art Contest is coming in 2025!

This year’s contest theme is:
Habitat Heroes: Transforming Lawns into Vibrant Native Gardens

Get Inspired!

K-12 students in Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin, and the Dougherty Valley area of San Ramon -  get those creative juices flowing! Submit any form of visual artwork showcasing the importance of swapping thirsty grass in your homes for a beautiful water-wise garden using plants that are native to California and naturally drought-resistant. Submissions should highlight the importance of using native plant species to support healthy habitats. Students can submit photographs, paintings, digital artwork, and more!

Submissions will be accepted beginning in January 2025 so get your students excited and brainstorming in the next few months!

The grand prize is a brand-new iPad and the finalists’ artwork will be displayed throughout the Tri-Valley! Stay tuned for more detailed information, full contest rules, and resources in the upcoming months.
